Salivary Gland Tumors in Rare Sites Report of Two Cases *

Presumably benign neoplastic growths presenting structures characteristic of salivary gland tumors have been observed recently in sites quite unusual for such tumors. In one case the growth was attached to the right side of the bridge of the nose, in the other it arose in the left side of the hard palate. The presentation here is restricted to a brief account of the pertinent data on both of these patients. A discussion of the histogenesis and the position in the oncologic systems of the so-called salivary gland tumors is purposely omitted, since the present knowledge of this subject is admirably summarized by Ewing', Lang2, Kaufmann3 and Stout4.
